Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to take on the role of Head of SDRs. This part-time position will be pivotal in driving the success of our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) by overseeing the quality, driving results, and ensuring compliance of our SDR teams.
The Head of SDRs will work closely with the Outbound Business Unit Manager, Team Leaders, Mentors (Coaches), and other key stakeholders to ensure that our SDRs are not only meeting but exceeding expectations. Your mission will be to make our SDR team the best in the business.
We understand that job-hunting can be stressful, and we seek to make the recruitment process as easy and transparent as possible. That said, we want to fully get to know you, and hear about your ideas and goals - so needless to say, cover letters generated by GPT-4 or other LLMs will not be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the process owner for SDR activities, ensuring that best practices are followed and continuously improved upon.
- Lead the onboarding and ongoing education of new SDRs, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
- Work closely with the Outbound Business Unit Manager to make key decisions such as hiring new SDRs, determining the right fit for specific projects, and optimizing team composition.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure that SDRs have access to the best tools and technologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness in their work.
- Regularly check in with Project Managers to monitor the quality of work and adherence to established processes, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
Key Collaborations
- Outbound Team Leaders: Work hand-in-hand with Team Leaders to ensure alignment and consistency across the SDR team.
- Mentors (Coaches): Partner with Mentors to develop training programs and initiatives that enhance the performance and capabilities of the SDRs.
- IT Department: Ensure that the SDRs have the necessary tools and that any issues are resolved promptly.
- Project Managers: Engage periodically to assess quality, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of the SDR role and processes.
- Proven ability to lead without direct authority, influencing and guiding others toward shared goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- A passion for driving results and developing talent.
- Being a do-er and getting things done.
Why This Role?
This is a unique opportunity to take your current experience and expertise to the next level by playing a critical role in shaping the future of our SDR team. You’ll have the chance to influence key decisions, optimize processes, and make a significant impact on the business—all while maintaining your existing responsibilities.
